House Talk 124

As we near the end of 2009, we look forward to Christmas, the summer holidays and of course the New Year. Looking back, 2009 was a very much better year than 2008 for real estate with a significantly higher number of sales and increasing prices following the falls of 2008.

The NZ Herald reported on 3 December 2009 … “HOUSE PRICES BACK AT 2007 LEVELS!” as a headline, going on to say home prices in Auckland had risen 9.9% in the last 12 months and regained all of the losses of the last 2 years. And, that property is being seen as a sound medium to long term investment.

As a real estate person, I had a good year and successfully helped around 100 buyers and sellers by being their Agent. It still gives me a buzz even after 20 years and over 1,250 sales when I sell a home, and both the buyer and seller are happy with the result.

If you are looking to sell or buy in 2010 and want results from a Salesperson that sells over 20 times as many as the average Salesperson, please phone or email me for a chat.

Best wishes for Christmas and a prosperous 2010!

John Goodrum
