BOOMING AUCKLAND HOUSE SALES JUMP $709 EACH DAY.
NZ Herald Saturday 17th April 2010.
The article went on to say house sales are booming nationally and Auckland leads the way with a $709 a day jump. Prices in most Auckland areas are well above the 2007/2008 slump. Real Estate Institute figures showed an extremely strong March.
Despite the global economic downturn which hit 2007 Waitakere City prices (like most Auckland suburbs) have more than doubled in the past 10 years.
With improving sales numbers and prices rising at about $700/day now is certainly a good time to buy. I have some excellent properties for sale so please call me about these. If you are considering selling why not call me. My advice is free and confidential and I typically get better prices in less time for my sellers.
I am happy to say I have done my part so far this year with January, February and March sales of 17 properties with a total value of $6,742,500 making an average sales value of $396,617 – very close to the median Waitakere City sales value of $406,000.
In case you were wondering if my figures are good or average or bad, it would take approximately 20 average salespeople to make the same number of sales in the same time frame.
When is the best time? – Now is good.
Best Wishes,
John Goodrum
