Te Atatu Peninsula Real Estate News 13

Hello again,

Once again the real estate market in Te Atatu Peninsula was governed by a shortage of properties for sale. At the 1st of July there were only 38 properties on the market (and many of these probably had conditional sales at the time).

There were 14 sales with a median price of $564,500 and an average of only 15 days to sell.

ADDRESS SOLD FOR
2/34 Rewarewa Road - $295,000
54 Vinograd Drive - $578,000,
2A Taipari Road - $460,000
5 Roby Street - $580,000
5 Bayside Avenue - $490,000
7 Gane Lane - $617,000
1A Stokes Avenue - $532,000
2/8 Enderby Drive - $628,000
1/75 Matipo Road - $545,000
3 Tawa Road - $640,000
8 Justin Place - $545,000
27 Neil Avenue - $683,000
125 Taikata Road - $551,000
77 Taikata Road - $785,000

Of the 14 sales only 3 were marketed with a price, 6 were by auction and 5 by negotiation.
This is a deliberate policy because sellers are reluctant to put a price on a property when the market is so buoyant. Prices being achieved are frequently higher than seller expectations.
