Investor buyers are back
After a long absence from the market investor buyers are back spurred on by the shortage of rental properties. Desperate tenants are queuing up at rental property viewings behind 10-20 others trying to get a rental property. They are even writing up tenancy applications on the spot and offering higher rents than being asked by the landlord to secure a rental agreement.
There have even been some despicable scammers trying to make gains out of the situation by advertising fake properties for rent on trade me and asking for bonds and rents in advance.
Investor buyers have few problems obtaining finance since mostly they own their own home or have other rental property as back-up security.
Investors are interested in all sorts of properties and with high rents being achieved just about any sort of property can become a potential ‘rental investment’ for those keen investors out there.
If you are thinking of selling I have numerous investor buyers looking. Do you want to find out what the market rent would be for your home?
Email or call me and I can provide information detailing market rents for similar homes in your area.
Best wishes,
John Goodrum
